Families are created with love. The "family unit" is traditionally looked at as a man, a woman, and child(ren). But, that's quite narrowminded in 2018, isn't it?!
In this episode, we’re focusing on LOVE and you’re going to get the opportunity to meet two of Natalie Viglione's favorite people in Charlotte, Peter Anthonii Carey, and Joshua (or Josh) Anglero – they are business owners, partners in life, and are polar opposites.
They have managed to identify their strengths and channel the efforts into creating a company, PAC Public Relations (PR and Web design agency), but what this episode is about is something much BIGGER than even owning a business.
We discuss the status quo as it relates to love – love in the family way, but not in the traditional sense of what the "norm" is as it relates to a family. There are still a lot of problems as to how our society handles "family" as it relates to LGBTQ legalities and parenting.
We deep dive into Josh and Peter's journey, and we explore their emotional journey as they evolve together through life, and take a look at DISRUPTION in a couple areas:
1) the thinking around traditional thoughts on family and that old paradigm of that “man and woman” caregiver family.
2) that there is MORE POWER in truth and authenticity in the vulnerability of being opening to raise two wonderful girls, while having an amazing relationship with the mother. Typical? No. Loving? YES! So, why would there ever be any issues that they would face?

FROM PETER AND JOSH:
PAC Public Relations uses many unorthodox strategies. We try to integrate PR and Web seamlessly. This is done by having a clear vision for the clients we work with which typically means developing a deep and personal relationship with them. In addition, unlike many companies, we encourage cross-promotion and collaboration among our clients, vendors, and partners. Business is all about relationship building and that who we are at our core. We look good, when you look great!
