David Akrish has an extensive background in Chinese Herbal Medicine and is the co-founder since 2000, with his wife Teah, of Heaven & Earth Chinese Medicine Herbal Center. He is known as a clinical herbalist working on extremely health issues utilizing multiple, complex formulations. He also has an extensive background in emergency medicine as both a firefighter and paramedic.
In addition to being a Chinese Herbalist, and after well over 5 consistent decades of training, studying and teaching in over 40 different systems of martial arts, David has founded Black Dragon Modern Combat.
Black Dragon Modern Combat is a one of a kind system with the evolution of close-quarter-combat self-defense. It is based on five, separate concepts only found within the teachings: Sacred Geometry, Sacred Numerology, Planetary Movements, Laws & Physics and the movement of the Black Dragon.
